The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory across much of north-central and northeast Wisconsin. The strong winds that began in the early morning are supposed to last much of the day. Sustained winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts of 40 to 50 miles per hour has the potential to cause hazardous travel for light-weight or high profile vehicles. Authorities are cautioning drivers to be on the lookout for scattered and unsecured objects, like garbage cans or Christmas decorations, that might be swirling into the roadways.
