Two elderly Clintonville residents were killed in a car crash on Monday. The 82 year old woman and 86 year old man were in an SUV that collided with a semi on County Trunk Y at State 156 east of Clintonville. It happened about 11:20 Monday morning. The Waupaca Sheriff’s Office spoke with witnesses who said the SUV was southbound on Y and failed to stop at the stop sign at 156. They drove in front of a semi and it slammed into them broadside. The two were trapped inside the wreckage of the SUV. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
