New London police are making it safer to complete transactions with the strangers you do business with online. Police Chief Jeff Schlueter says they’ve established an Internet purchase exchange location, right outside the police department. Hortonville also has an online exchange location. If you buy or sell on Craigslist, or Facebook,or other Internet locations, you can complete your transaction on the sidewalk on the north side of the police department. The chief says if you feel you are in danger, you can step inside the police station. The doors will always be unlocked.
