Shawano County authorities are alerting residents about a convicted sex offender who is being placed in the county because there is no room at facilities in Dodge County. The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department says in a news release that 31 year-old Jonathan Miller will reside at N8995 Bluebird Road in Birnamwood when he is released next month. A spokesperson for the department says Shawano County was given no choice because the location was chosen by the state department of human services. The home on Bluebird Road already houses another convicted sex offender. Miller was 16 years old when he lured two girls into a park bathroom and sexually assaulted them in 2004.
