The Shawano County Public Property Committee needs to find someone to get asbestos-containing materials out of the county courthouse. They’re seeking bids now for qualified contractors to do so. The items in question are floor tile and mastic, plus some areas have been underneath carpet for a number of years and will have to be dug up and properly disposed of. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid meeting held on 10/26/2017 at 10:00 a.m. Bids will be accepted at the office of the Shawano County Clerk located at 311 N. Main St. Shawano, WI 54166 until 4:00 p.m. on November 7th.
