Menasha 27, Shawano 7
Shawano kept the game to one score at halftime and hung tough in the third quarter, but Menasha scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach. Jarred Laatsch ran 23 times for 63 yards and a touchdown. He was also 8-of-15 passing for 65 yards. Brayden Dickelman led Shawano receiving, hauling in five passes for 56 yards. Menasha’s Cole Popp rushed for two touchdowns to lead the Blue Jays to a 4-0 start. Shawano held Alex Zeinert to just 80 passing.
New London 47, Green Bay East 28
Makio Harn scored four touchdowns and Jack Noffke passed for two more as New London used a balanced scoring attack to top Green Bay East 47-28. The Red Devils led 7-6 at the end of the first, but New London turned it on after the halftime break, scoring 28 points to put the game out of reach. Harn ended the game with 178 yards.
Xavier 25, Seymour 24
Seymour failed to convert on what would have been a game winning two point conversion in the fourth quarter. Hunter Plamann had over 400 all-purpose yards, throwing two touchdowns and rushing for one more as Xavier edged Seymour 25-24 in big Bay Conference game. Seymour was first to score and took an 18-16 lead at the half. Xavier scored two touchdowns to take seven point lead. Seymour went for the win, instead of the tie, but fell short. Devin VerVoort threw for 288 yards and Jamison Sassman led the rushing attack with 106 yards and a touchdown.
Waupaca 55, Green Bay West 6
Green Bay West and Waupaca traded touchdowns in the first quarter, but a 6-6 tie did not last long. Waupaca scored the next 49 points and rolled to their first win of the season 55-6 over West. Terry Schmidt led the way on the ground with 87 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Brenden Canterbury scored twice on the ground and once through the air.

Amherst 56, Weyauwega-Fremont 0
Amherst used a team rushing attack to put Weyauwega-Fremont away in the first half. Amherst improved to 4-0 after the 56-0 win.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood 22, Pacelli 20
Jack Stewart carried the ball 22 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns to help Wittenberg-Birnamwood hand Pacelli their first loss of the season.
Bonduel 47, Iola-Scandinavia 20
In a battle between two ranked teams the Bonduel rushing attack was too much for Iola-Scandinavia to handle. Eli Mastey tallied 202 rushing yards and scored three touchdowns. Jordan Boldt added 93 yards while Jacob Banker added 52 on the ground. Boldt and his brother Isaac each recorded interceptions.
Shiocton 34, Manawa 8
Shiocton moved the ball well in a 34-8 win over Manawa. Matt Peterson rushed for 110 yards and scored twice in the victory.

Rosholt 60, Marion-Tigerton 0
Rosholt took control of the game early to pick up their first win of the season. Entering the contest the Hornets had totaled just 7 points, but thanks to a stout defensive game they exploded for 60. Scoring started on the opening drive when the Hornets marched 49 yards for a score. After a punt, Logan McHugh found Cade Bowker for a 49-yard touchdown strike. The lead was pushed to 20-0 after a fumble recovery turned into a Matthew Boettcher touchdown. Rosholt forced two fumbles and three interceptions on the night. The Hornets scored five rushing touchdowns and Boettcher also had a 40-yard punt return for a score. Tony Lemke led the ground game, rushing the ball 11 times for 63 yards and three touchdowns. Adam Charnecke added 62 yards on nine carries. The Marion-Tigerton offense was held to under 20 yards of total offense.

Notre Dame 24, Pulaski 21
Notre Dame’s Andrew Gruesen connected on a 37-yard field goal with one second remaining in the contest, breaking a 21-21 tie, and topping Pulaski 24-21. Dylan Hendricks rushed for 267 yards and scored twice. The Red Raiders have not beaten the Tritons since 2012.
Bay Port 48, Ashwaubenon 21
Bay Port picked up a rare win in Ashwaubenon 48-21, pulling away after playing in a tight game early. The Pirates had 456 rushing yards. Jacob Calawerts had 217 rushing yards, and Isaac Krause rushed for three touchdowns and threw a pair. Bay Port led 28-0, but a kick return and a big defensive play allowed Ashwaubenon to cut the lead to 28-21, but that was as close as they would get. Bay Port stays in the FRCC lead with a 4-0 record.
Green Bay Preble 44, De Pere 13
Green Bay Preble scored 20 points in the third quarter to pull away from De Pere with a 44-13 win to stay in the thick of the FRCC race. Henry Geil rushed for just shy of 200 yards, and scored twice in the win.

Fox Valley Lutheran 56, Denmark 13
Denmark got to within a touchdown of Fox Valley Lutheran in the first half, but a strong defensive showing for the Foxes led them to a 56-13 win to improve to 4-0 on the season. James Rodencal rushed for 209 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
Freedom 46, Oconto Falls 0
Irish quarterback Matt Verhasselt rushed for three touchdowns in the first quarter alone to put the game out of reach early. He finished wih 72 yards and four touchdowns rushing. Verhasselt was 4-of-7 for 83 yards through the air. The scoring started when he found Caden Hofacker for a 29-yard touchdown early in the game. Hofacker collected a 50-yard pick-6 in the second quarter. Dakota Brockman had 86 yards on the ground. Panther quarterback Joseph Walters was 6-of-11 for 39 yards and two interceptions.
Little Chute 35, Marinette 6
Jacob Lillge hauled in two long touchdown passes to help Little Chute to a 35-6 win over Marinette.
Wrightstown 50, Clintonville 8
The Truckers scored their first points of the season when Kyle Finger found Jarrett Colla for a 9-yard score. It wouldn’t be enough to keep up with a high-powered Wrightstown offense. Brayden Smith totaled 242 yards on just 10 carries. He had four touchdowns, three of them coming on runs of 50 yards or more.

Wausau West scored two late touchdowns to hold off Hortonville 28-14. Chandler Guyette and Kole Ellenbecker both scored for Hortonville.
Kimberly 42, Oshkosh West 14
DJ Stewart found the endzone three times on his way to 150 yards rushing for the Papermakers. Kimberly also had rushing scores by John Nett and Cody Staerkel. Quarterback Alec Rosner completed 16 passes for 161 yards.

Appleton West scored 35 points in the first quarter, and rolled to a 49-14 win over Oshkosh North
Appleton North 21, Stevens Point 14
A late touchdown by Will Stewart gave Appleton North the 21-14 win over Stevens Point.
Marshfield 27, Kaukauna 14
Kaukauna came close, but ultimately came up short against Marshfield. A 28-yard-touchdown pass from mason Van Asten to Noah Van Asten cut the deficit to a touchdown. Marshfield sealed the game on a 65-yard touchdown run from Ryan Krueger.

The Phantoms needed two fourth quarter touchdowns to pull away from Luxemburg-Casco with a 35-21 win. The Phantoms got scoring runs from Austin Beaumier and Josh Blount to break a 21-21 tie. Both running backs crossed the century mark in yards, and scored multiple times. Beaumier had 159 yards and three scores. Blount had 161 yards and two scores. Ian Doell had three receiving touchdowns for Luxemburg-Casco.

Wausaukee quarterback Matt Delfosse scored a game tying touchdown and a game winning two-point conversion to give Wausaukee a 22-20 win over Green Bay N.E.W.
Menominee Indian 44, Bowler/Gresham 6
Meshaen Waukau scored three first half touchdowns to help lead Menominee Indian to their first win of the season 44-6 over Bowler Gresham. Waukau scored on a 48-yard run and a 56-yard run. Jarin Reiter had a big interception return. The Eagles took advantage of multiple Bowler/Gresham penalties. The Cats scored their only touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 6-yard pass from Landon Kroening to Nathan Montez.
