A representative from Bray Associates-the firm hired to move forward with the new Waupaca County Highway facility-gave members of the Waupaca County Special Highway Building Committee their first detailed look at the new project Wednesday morning.
The 109,000 square-foot maintenance facility will be located in the Town of Lind, just off of County Highway A, which would replace the county’s current facility inside the city of Waupaca.
The county was also notified of the price of the project, which carries with it a $27.6 million cost.
A full proposal will be presented to the county board when they meet in mid-August.
