Monday night’s Clintonville Board of Education meeting was far from ordinary.
The meeting concluded with the board accepting the resignation of Superintendent Tom O’Toole and the unexpected resignation of board member Clyde Tellock.
In the middle of the meeting Tellock, who served on the board since 2000, announced Monday’s meeting would be his last.
For O’Toole, his resignation will be effective as of Aug. 4. He was not in attendance of the meeting, but the board thanked him for his service. O’Toole had been with the district as Superintendent since 2001.
Neither of the two could be reached for comment.
