A warrant was issued for the arrest of a Shawano County woman, who had her bond revoked on Wednesday.
Ayesha M. Dodge, 21, was scheduled for a plea or sentencing hearing Wednesday morning, but called the court explaining she would be an hour late. According to court documents, Dodge was scheduled to be in court at 8:30 a.m, but called at 8:55 a.m., saying she would arrive around 9:30 a.m.
The court then issued a warrant for Dodge to be taken back into custody after the bond that was posted was revoked. According to court records, the $500.00 bond was posted by Dodge’s Grandmother, who later asked for it to be revoked after Dodge did not follow rules and conditions that were set for her. According to a letter from the Grandmother, the request was made to revoke bond after Dodge continued to break house rules.
Dodge posted a $500 cash bond last month after it was lowered from $1,000.
According to court records, the bond was posted by Dodge’s grandmother. A $500 cash bond was once again set for Dodge, and a status conference is scheduled for April.
Dodge was arrested in December and charged in one of Shawano County’s largest theft operations.
