For the second year in a row, a Carlene Beyer is a state champion bowler.
As a Junior at Little Wolf High School in Manawa, Beyer secured her second consecutive state title after coming out on top of the Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin’s High School Bowling Club State Championship in Division 2 singles.
Beyer is believed to be the school’s first ever back-to-back state champion in boys or girls bowling. She defeated Candace Kipp of Madison East 200-159 in the final round, as Beyer was the only bowler to qualify for the singles competition from Manawa.
As an added bonus for winning, Beyer also netted a $500 scholarship for winning from the BCAW.
