Last week Shawano Police referred 14 separate cases to the Shawano County District Attorney’s office for charges and arrest warrants, regarding the recent rash of retail thefts that hit a number of Shawano businesses over the past few weeks. According to Shawano Police Lieutenant Dan Mauel, Shawano Police Department is requesting arrest warrants for retail theft and possession of stolen property for three individuals. The alleged offenders are a 30-year-old Neopit woman, a 32-year-old Keshena woman, and a 36-year-old Keshena woman. At least five businesses reported retail theft over the previous few weeks. According to the police reports, they were Raptor Knife and Gun, NAPA Auto Parts, Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts, Automotive Supply Company, and Qualheim’s True Value.
