Shawano took an early and kept it throughout for a 54-38 win over New London. The Hawks led 29-18 at the half, and never looked back. Shawano held New London’s leading scorer Kyle Wolf to zero points. The Hawks were led by Kaden Richards with 19 and got 10 from AJ Kohl. New London was led by Will Wohlt with 12 and Brayden Kurth with 11.
Menasha 48, Seymour 40
Jacob Everson paced the Blue Jays with 23 points. Trevor Cornell led the Thunder with 10 points.
Xavier 103, Green Bay East 57
Hunter Plaman drilled four 3-pointers and totaled 26 points to help Xavier cruise to the win. The Hawks knocked down 12 as a team. Xavier remains perfect on the season (12-0) after reaching the 100-point total for the first time this season.

Jordan McCabe put his name into the record books in the win, as the junior became the all-time leading scorer in school history. He had 16 in the game to put him at 1,296 in his career. The previous record was 1,285. Eric Carl was the game’s leading scorer with 20 points, while Adam Smith added 19.

The Spartans say on top of the North Eastern with an overmatched conference win. Bryce TeKulve and Nathan Coisman rattled off 18 points each, as the team shot an impressive 69 percent from the floor.

The Vikings’ defense held the Comets to just eight first half points en route to the conference win. Ashley Leiterman tallied 10 points to lead Denmark.

The Spartans led 39-18 at half and were in control until the finish. Cassie Schiltz led paved the way with 19 points.

Freedom 56, Wrightstown 50
The Irish outlasted their top-5 counterpart behind Makenna Haase, who paced all scorers with 28 points. Freedom led by eight on the road at halftime and would never relinquish the lead. Wrightstown had three players in double-digits, led by 11-point efforts by Alisha Murphy and Lexy Wolske.

Levi Snortum’s pin win in the second to last match of the evening was enough to give Shiocton a non-conference win over Laconia. The Chiefs took the early 21-12 lead and earned two pin wins that made the difference.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood 41, Weyauwega-Fremont 36
Weyauwega-Fremont won the last four matches of the night, but it wasn’t enough to get past Witenberg-Birnamwood. The Chargers early lead led to a 41-36 win. The Chargers won six of the first seven matches and took a 29-6 lead, but would only win one match the rest of the way. The Chargers picked up three pins, including one by Alex Peplinski to secure the victory.

Pulaski’s Jake Gille earned a pin at the end of the dual to secure a 30-28 win over De Pere. Gille, who had to win by at least a major decision earned his pin in the second period. Prior to that, Pulaski came back from a 12-0 defect for their first and only lead. The Red Raiders tied the dual at 12-12, but lost to straight matches to go down again midway through. Cole Gille’s win by major decision and Logan Bellow’s win by decision kept Pulaski in the hunt for the win.

Hortonville used six pins to help in a 48-29 win over Kimberly. The Polar Bears took the early 18-0 lead with pin wins by Elliot Luker, Kirkland Hills and Griffen Cartwright. The Polar Bears won 9 matches.

Matthew Van Eperen won the final match of the evening by pin, giving Wrightstown a 34-30 win over Freedom. The Tigers 220 pounder pinned Alex Rohan with 20 seconds left in the match. Wrightstown won three of the final five matches after Freedom took control with pin wins by Sam Peters and Evan Vosters. The Tigers won 7 of the 13 matches wrestled, with only three pins.
