The New London Chamber of Commerce is offering a free class, regarding violence in the workplace preparedness training. The presentation will cover steps that individuals and businesses can take to enhance awareness and preparation for workplace violence.
The class will talk about the “what ifs,” and ways to recognize workplace violence indicators, describe the actions to take to prevent, or know what to do during active shooter, and describe how to manage the consequences after an active shooter incident.
New London Police Department Captain Chris Gregory will provide the training on Tuesday, Jan. 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The class will take place at the council chambers at the New London City Hall.
