Donna M. Page, age 92 of Clintonville, passed away early Thursday morning, May 28, 2026 at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville.
The former Donna Mae Topping was born on April 29, 1934, in Escanaba, Michigan, the daughter of the late Delbert and Minnie (Rose) Topping. In her youth, her family relocated to Rhinelander, then to Popple River, before ultimately settling in Clintonville, where she attended local schools. In 1954, Donna spent a brief period living in Green Bay before returning to her roots. On April 9, 1955, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Roger E. Page, in Rhinelander. Together, they built a beautiful life and made their lifelong home in the Clintonville area.
Donna lived a life deeply rooted in faith and service to her community. As a dedicated, long-time member of the United Methodist Church in Clintonville, she served in numerous capacities, took great comfort in Bible study, and spent many years teaching Sunday School. Faith-filled and compassionate, Donna knew her Holy Bible inside and out and was always ready to graciously share the Gospel with others. Beyond her church, she poured her energy into volunteering, giving her time to the Red Cross Blood Mobile, the Clintonville Hospital Auxiliary, and planning joyful activities with the Golden Belle’s for the residents of the Behling Home.
In her younger years, Donna loved to dance, and throughout her entire life, she held a special affection for many canine companions. Though she had no children of her own, Donna’s heart was wide open to her family. She was a beloved fixture in the lives of her nieces and nephews, effectively serving as a second mother to them all. She was the absolute favorite babysitter for her great-nieces and nephews, creating a home where you were guaranteed to have fun—even if you had to play by her rules. Cherished family memories will always include staying at her house and enjoying her famous, unforgettable “honeymooner” donuts.
