Shawano Police responded to a wide range of calls throughout the day on April ninth, including welfare checks, criminal complaints, and emergency incidents.
Officers were called early in the morning to a welfare check at a local restaurant after a vehicle was reported running unattended for several hours. Later, a traffic-related arrest was made on East Green Bay Street involving violations tied to operating without a valid license and sobriety conditions.
Suspicious activity was reported at multiple locations, including a vehicle with covered windows parked at a local business, and another driver refusing to communicate while waiting outside a residence.
Police are also investigating a vandalism complaint on Jaycee Court, where a vehicle was reportedly tampered with.
At a local grocery store, officers responded to a shoplifting incident that escalated into a disturbance.
A serious welfare check later in the day involved a report of a person being pushed from a moving vehicle, with the victim transported to the hospital.
Additional calls included a probation violation, a juvenile complaint at a city park, a 911 disturbance call, and a reckless driving report late in the evening.
Clintonville Police were kept busy throughout the day on April ninth, responding to a mix of routine patrols, emergencies, and criminal complaints.
Officers conducted numerous early morning business checks, with a heavy presence along South Main Street, 10th Street, and Hemlock Street, along with extra patrols in residential areas. A vehicle lockout was reported on West Morning Glory Drive overnight.
Emergency crews responded to an ambulance call on Waupaca Street just before 3:30 a.m., and later in the day to another medical call on South Main Street.
Police are investigating a theft reported on West Madison Street early in the morning, as well as a second theft later in the evening on SSGT Warren Hansen Drive. An internet crimes complaint was also taken on North Main Street.
Late morning, officers handled a welfare check on Spring Street and responded to a motor vehicle crash at South Main and 7th Street.
Multiple 911 calls were reported during the afternoon and evening, including incidents on Hemlock Street and West Green Tree Road.
Other calls included illegal burning on Flora Circle, a suspicious complaint on McKinley Avenue, and a citizen assist on South Clinton Avenue.

Early in the morning, deputies responded to a disabled vehicle along Highway 29 near Highway 45. The vehicle was expected to be removed later in the day. Just minutes later, a 911 hang-up call was reported in the Pulaski area, with location data helping authorities attempt follow-up.
Traffic safety remained a concern throughout the day. A reckless driving complaint described a silver truck swerving and speeding along Highway 29, though that incident was ultimately unfounded. Later in the afternoon, another reckless driving report came in along the same corridor.
Deputies also assisted with several routine but important service calls, including vehicle lockouts in Bonduel and Shawano, and a transport to a Green Bay eye clinic.
At Bonduel High School, crews responded to a general fire alarm just before noon. Authorities remained on scene while the situation was assessed.
Several suspicious activity calls were reported across the county. In one case near Cecil, a homeowner reported two unfamiliar men approaching the residence asking for water before leaving the area. Another caller in the Town of Belle Plaine reported fears someone was attempting to damage their home.
Emergency dispatchers also handled multiple 911 calls throughout the day, including one open line where screaming could be heard, prompting an urgent response.
Two warrant-related incidents were reported, including one individual taken into custody at the Brown County Jail, and another who turned herself in at the Shawano County Jail.
Late in the evening, deputies responded to a disturbance in Wittenberg and a disabled vehicle along Highway 22.
