Shawano Police responded to a wide range of calls throughout the day, including several welfare checks, arrests, and disturbances across the city.
Officers conducted multiple welfare checks, including one involving a concerning report of a woman who had made statements about harming herself. Authorities were able to locate the individual after tracking her last known location.
Police also assisted the Shawano County Coroner with a death notification at an apartment on Mountain Bay Trail.
A pickup arrest was made at the Probation and Parole Office on East Green Bay Street, where a woman was taken into custody without incident.
Drug-related complaints were reported at Smalley Park and later at an apartment building on South Main Street, where residents reported the smell of marijuana.
Officers handled two separate domestic disturbance calls, including one involving reported threats made by family members.
Other calls included a stolen wallet report at Charlie’s County Market, a missing firearm reported at a residence on Lange Court, and multiple vehicle lockouts at local businesses.
Clintonville Police were busy yesterday responding to a variety of calls across the city.The day began with early morning business checks and extra patrols in several neighborhoods, including West 13th, 9th, Anne, and Rohrer Streets. Officers also conducted a school patrol near 20th Street to ensure student safety.
Emergency crews responded to multiple ambulance calls, including incidents on Motor Street, West 13th Street, and Spring Street.
Parking enforcement was active late in the morning in the downtown area, with officers issuing citations along 9th and 10th Streets near Main and Clinton Avenue.
Police also conducted several traffic stops and responded to a traffic-related complaint at 10th and Hemlock.
Welfare checks were carried out on South Clinton Avenue and later on West Campus Drive.
Several ordinance violations were reported on Stewart Street throughout the afternoon, while controlled burns were monitored on North 12th Street and Shaw Street.
In the evening, officers responded to a 911 call on Brix Street and a disorderly conduct complaint on West Morning Glory Drive.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office responded to 37 incidents across the county. The day began with an early morning hazard on Highway 45 near Birnamwood, where a deer was reported in the roadway. Deputies also conducted a welfare check in Bowler and assisted with a medical call in the Wittenberg area.
Several 911 calls were handled throughout the day, including one involving a power outage and others requiring emergency response in Pulaski and surrounding areas.
Deputies responded to multiple reckless driving complaints, including one on Highway 32 near Deer Drive and another on Highway 29, involving a vehicle reported driving erratically without license plates.
Authorities also investigated suspicious activity reports, including smoke initially believed to be a problem but later confirmed as a controlled burn, and reports of unusual vehicle activity in residential areas.
Law enforcement made at least one warrant arrest in Tigerton and handled a drug-related case at a nearby residence. A weapons offense was also reported in the Bonduel area.
Medical calls remained a steady part of the workload, including a reported seizure, a fall involving an elderly woman, and additional ambulance assists throughout the day.
Other incidents included harassment complaints, an attempt to locate an individual in Bonduel, a reported traffic hazard involving a vehicle without taillights, and assistance with inmate transport from the county jail.
