Two area teams have thrown no hitters so far this season in area baseball action those being Wittenberg-Birnamwood and Xavier.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood
Wittenberg-Birnamwood followed with a strong showing of its own, as Connor Meverden, Oliver Fraaza, and Carson Meronk teamed up in a 9-0 shutout of Wautoma. Meverden picked up the win, striking out four over three innings, while Fraaza and Meronk each added two innings of work to secure the victory.
Xavier
Xavier’s trio of Kyler Bleck, Gavin Wiese, and Quinn Comerford combined for a six-inning no-hitter in a 10-0 win over Green Bay East on March 31. Bleck earned the win on the mound, with the three pitchers each throwing two innings and combining for 11 strikeouts in the commanding performance.
