NORTHEAST WISCONSIN – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is looking for volunteers to help lead safety education courses across the state.
Officials say instructors are needed in a variety of areas, including hunter and bow safety, ATV and UTV operation, snowmobile safety, and boating education.
The DNR says volunteer instructors play a critical role in promoting safe outdoor recreation and helping educate the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts.
To qualify, applicants must be at least 18 years old, have experience in the area they wish to teach, and pass a background check.
Those interested in becoming a certified instructor can find more information and apply through the Wisconsin DNR’s website.
