SHAWANO COUNTY, WI – Governor Tony Evers has approved an $11.9 million project aimed at improving a stretch of WIS 29 in Shawano County.
The work will take place between County J and County M, running through the towns of Morris, Seneca, Herman, and Richmond, with construction scheduled to begin March 30th.
Crews will focus on replacing guardrails, repairing and replacing sections of concrete pavement, and installing a new culvert under the westbound lanes.
During construction, traffic will be maintained with single lane closures and bi-directional traffic to keep vehicles moving through the area.
The project is expected to be completed by November 5th, with the timeline dependent on weather conditions and construction progress.
