Shawano Police handled a variety of calls Wednesday, including a drug investigation and a disorderly conduct complaint.
According to the Shawano Police Department daily activity log, officers were dispatched shortly after 5:00 a.m. to the police department on South Sawyer Street regarding a reported drug offense. Details about that investigation have not yet been released.
Police also responded to a report of disorderly conduct during the day on Wednesday. No injuries were reported in that incident.
Officers conducted extra patrol at a residence on East Ridlngton Avenue just before 4:00 a.m. after receiving information about possible suspicious activity in the area.
In other activity, Shawano police assisted emergency medical crews on an ambulance call and also helped another law enforcement agency with a separate matter.
The incidents remain under review and additional information could be released as the investigations continue.
Clintonville Police responded to a range of calls throughout the day on March 11th.
Officers began the early morning with a welfare check on West Morning Glory Drive shortly after 2 a.m. and conducted business checks on County Highway I and South Main Street during the overnight hours.
Police also increased patrols in several neighborhoods, including Ninth Street, West Street, and Anne Street, while school extra patrols were carried out near 20th Street and West Green Tree Road as students arrived for the day.
During the morning, officers assisted a citizen on West Green Tree Road and investigated a suspicious situation on Sixth Street. A traffic violation was also reported on West Morning Glory Drive.
In the afternoon and evening, officers conducted traffic stops at North Main and 17th Street and later on South Main Street.
Police also responded to several more serious calls later in the day, including a mental health-related incident on 8th Street and a domestic disturbance on Wilson Street. A disorderly conduct complaint was also reported on Wilson Street later in the evening.
Other calls included a lost-and-found report on South Main Street, a suspicious activity complaint on North Main Street, and an open door report on Bennett Street just before 11 p.m.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office handled a wide range of calls across the county Wednesday, including several traffic crashes, a fraud report, and a number of service calls.
Deputies responded to multiple crashes during the morning commute along Highway 29. One crash with no reported injuries was reported around 6:20 a.m. near Highway 29 and St. Augustine Street. Additional property-damage crashes were reported shortly after 7:00 a.m. near the Highway 29 and Highway 160 interchange in Pulaski and again near County Trunk T westbound in the Town of Shawano.
Just minutes later, deputies were called to a traffic hazard on County Trunk M in the Town of Pella after several cows were reported wandering onto the roadway.
Throughout the day, deputies handled a variety of other calls, including a vehicle lockout in Cecil, a parking complaint in Wittenberg, and a disabled vehicle along County Trunk A near Old A Road.
Investigations were also opened into a reported property theft along Highway 117 in Bonduel and a fraud complaint on Capitol Drive in the Town of Belle Plaine involving a student loan reportedly taken out in someone else’s name.
Deputies also responded to a suspicious activity complaint along a snowmobile trail near Northwood Drive where a person wearing a headlamp was reportedly heard moving around the area.
The day ended with another property-damage crash reported just before 10 p.m. on Butternut Lane near Bowler.
In addition, the Stockbridge-Munsee Police Department assisted with several incidents during the day, including a crash near Murphy’s Road and Camp 14 Road and a request to assist another law enforcement agency.
