WisDOT to Hold Public Meeting on Highway 45 and Highway 54 Construction Near New London

NORTHEAST WISCONSIN – Residents will have an opportunity to learn more about upcoming highway construction projects near New London during a public information meeting hosted by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

WisDOT officials say the meeting will focus on planned improvements to U.S. Highway 45 and Highway 54 in Waupaca and Outagamie counties. The projects include work on Highway 45 between Givens Road and Church Road, as well as Highway 54 between West Jeanne Street and County Highway S.

The public meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 16 at 6 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chambers at the New London Municipal Building, located at 215 North Shawano Street.

Transportation officials say the meeting will begin with a brief presentation before transitioning to an open-house format where residents can speak with project staff.

During the meeting, WisDOT representatives will share information about construction staging, project timelines, traffic impacts, and other details related to the planned work. Residents will also have an opportunity to ask questions and learn how the projects may affect travel in the area.
