SHAWANO, WI – Food lovers in the Shawano area will soon have the opportunity to explore new flavors and sharpen their culinary skills at the upcoming Shawano Flavor Fest Cooking School and Expo.
Organizer Robyn Shingler says the event will take place Saturday morning, March 21, at Shawano Community High School. The event will begin with a vendor expo where attendees can explore booths, sample food, and connect with local businesses offering a variety of culinary products.
Shingler says the high school provides the perfect location for the event because it allows local vendors and community members to gather in one place for a fun and interactive experience centered around food.
After the expo wraps up at noon, the focus will shift from sampling to learning as attendees move into the high school auditorium for a cooking school session. The two-hour class will feature headlining chef Ben Iozzo along with Lou Ramirez of Lulu’s Bakery in Clintonville.
Organizers say the event is open to anyone who enjoys cooking or wants to learn something new in the kitchen while supporting local vendors and the Shawano community.
