FREMONT, WI – The American Legion Post 391 and Auxiliary in Fremont will host a community blood drive on March 2 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Legion building on Waupaca Street. The Community Blood Center mobile unit will be on-site collecting donations to help meet ongoing regional needs.
Officials say blood donated locally helps supply more than 40 hospitals across the Midwest and may directly assist patients undergoing surgery, cancer treatment, or trauma care. Organizers emphasize that each donation can make a life-saving difference for someone in need.
As an added incentive, donors who give blood through June 5 can claim two free tickets to a Green Bay Blizzard game. Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled by calling or texting 920-277-6944 or by visiting donate.communityblood.org.
