TIGERTON, WI – The Battle of Highway 45 was in Marion’s favor coming into yesterday’s game by 7 games, Tigerton took that personally with a 93-19 win over Marion. It was Tigerton’s 6th straight win over Marion.
The game started off with raining 3’s from the Tigers. Brody Miller, Caleb Dahlstrom and Sam Anheuser all had 3’s in the first half propel Tigerton to jump out quickly.
At the break, it was 52-13 after James Brady got going with 13 first half points.
Out of the break, the Tigerton defense stood tough only allowing 6 points in the 2nd half from the Mustangs.
Overall, Tigerton’s defense forced 28 Mustang turnovers in route to a running clock victory.
With the win, Tigerton improved to 23-0 and 9-0 in the CWC-North. Marion dropped to 6-15 overall and 2-7 in the North.
Tigerton was led by James Brady with 25 and Sam Anheuser with 20.
Marion was led in scoring by Braylon Mielke with 6, Sawyer Kamba and Breckyn Dewhurst both had 4 points.
