SHAWANO, WI – Families across the area can once again look forward to a day of fun and community connection as the annual Fun For Kids’ Sake event returns this spring.
Cassiti Schultz says this year’s kid-focused celebration will take place Friday, May 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Franklin Park in Shawano. A rain date has been scheduled for May 30 if weather becomes a factor.
The event, organized by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shawano County, serves as both a community celebration and a fundraiser to support local youth mentoring programs.
Schultz says families can expect a variety of activities, including free admission, games for children of all ages, and multiple raffles. Food trucks will also be on-site, giving families the chance to enjoy lunch while spending the day at the park.
Organizers say the goal is to bring families together for a fun, welcoming event while raising support for programs that connect local youth with positive mentors.
