Shawano Police were kept busy with a wide range of calls throughout the city. Officers responded just after midnight to a trespassing complaint at the AmeriVu Inn & Suites on Waukechon Street, where two juveniles reportedly refused to leave the lobby. The situation was handled without further incident.
Around 9:30 a.m., officers assisted Probation and Parole at their East Green Bay Street office, taking a 51-year-old man into custody without incident.
Police also investigated several disturbances during the day, including one on River Heights and another on East Richmond Street. Multiple 911 hang-up calls were checked and determined to be accidental.
Traffic-related calls included a minor crash near Main and Fifth Streets and a road rage complaint near Eberlein Park Drive and East Green Bay Street involving a black SUV. No injuries were reported.
In the evening, officers began investigating a reported theft on Porter Road involving stolen property that was allegedly pawned locally.
Clintonville Officers conducted multiple early morning business checks on West Madison Street, North Main Street, East Green Tree Road, South Main Street, and Industrial Avenue. A suspicious vehicle was reported on South Main Street shortly after 3 a.m.
Police provided extra patrol on Anne Street during the early morning hours and responded to two separate 911 calls, including one on Flora Circle and another on West Green Tree Road.
Late in the morning, officers investigated a theft on North Clinton Avenue and a harassment complaint on West Green Tree Road. A warrant arrest was made on Lincoln Avenue just before 2:40 p.m., with additional agency assistance at the same location.
The afternoon and evening included reports of threatening behavior on West Morning Glory Drive, an animal problem on Klemp Road, and an animal bite on Harriet Street.
Officers also conducted several traffic stops throughout the day, including at Main and Green Tree, Harriet and Main, and near SSGT Warren Hansen Drive and 16th Street.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office say their day began with a general assistance call in Bowler just after 6:15 a.m., followed by an animal bite reported in Bonduel. Courthouse security was also handled at the Shawano County Courthouse during scheduled court proceedings.
Deputies responded to multiple 911 calls throughout the day, including an abandoned call near Hillside Drive in Pulaski and an accidental dial on Highway 160. A disabled vehicle, described as a red Dodge Durango, was reported on Old Lake Road and was scheduled for tow.
Animal-related calls included a deer that needed to be dispatched along Eland Road, as well as a welfare check in Bonduel involving concerns about a resident managing medications.
Reckless driving complaints were reported during the afternoon, including a vehicle traveling westbound on Highway 29 that was described as all over the roadway.
Deputies made at least one warrant arrest in Bowler and took a suspect into custody in connection with a theft reported on Porter Road, where items including a depth finder and camera were allegedly stolen and later pawned.
Other calls included trespassing in the Town of Aniwa, recovered property in the Town of Wescott, assistance to Langlade County authorities, and a late-night civil dispute involving a vehicle ownership issue.
In a separate incident, Stockbridge-Munsee Police handled a property-damage crash near Bowler School. Investigations remain ongoing.
