Mary F. Gloyd, age 47 of Shawano, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 at her home.
Mary Frances Gloyd was born on March 9, 1978, to Dorel and Lillian (Nelson) Gloyd in Portage, Wisconsin. Mary attended Portage schools and graduated from Portage High School. After graduation she worked at various restaurants as a waitress before finding her passion caring for others. She found employment at a private company offering in-home care for the elderly, and did what she loved for many years. Outside of work, Mary enjoyed helping care for, and spend time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She loved to do arts and crafts with them as she was very artistic. Mary was also an excellent baker and had a great sense of humor.
Mary is survived by her children: Kelsey (Richard Popp) Gloyd and Kori Achterberg
Grandchildren: Aubree, Addison, and Averie Popp, and Grayson Woeshnick
Her significant other: Karl Peters
As well as a brother: Rick Gloyd
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gary Gloyd; and a sister-in-law, Dawn Gloyd.
As per Mary’s wishes, all arrangements are private at this time.
