GILLETT, WI- The Gillett School District is adjusting operations due to significant staffing shortages caused by illness.
District officials say Gillett Elementary School will be closed Thursday, February 6. Gillett Middle/High School will shift to virtual learning for the day due to the same staffing concerns.
The district says enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures have been in place over the past several weeks and will continue on Friday.
At this time, no after-school or weekend activities have been canceled.
School officials say they will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed.
