SHAWANO, WI – The Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce is preparing to mark a major milestone this February, celebrating 100 years of supporting local businesses and strengthening the community. Chamber leaders say the centennial celebration will honor the organization’s past while setting the stage for its future.
Executive Director Suzanne Whitman says the event will be a special and elevated evening, featuring elements not seen at recent Chamber gatherings. Whitman notes the celebration will include live music, new sponsorship opportunities, and a program designed to reflect on the Chamber’s century-long impact across Shawano County.
According to Whitman, the night will balance a look back at the Chamber’s history with a forward-looking message about where the organization is headed next. She says the goal is to highlight how the Chamber has evolved over the past 100 years while sharing its vision for continued growth, advocacy, and community engagement.
The centennial celebration will be a formal affair, with black-tie attire and suits encouraged for men and evening gowns or cocktail dresses recommended for women.
The 100-year celebration will take place February 26 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Menominee Casino Resort Convention Center. Community members, business leaders, and Chamber supporters are invited to attend and help celebrate a century of service in Shawano County.
