GRESHAM, WI – It was a low scoring affair but Gresham managed to pull out a 46-38 win over the Gillett Tigers at home on Tuesday Night.
It was a back and forth affair in the first half with teams trading floaters and jumpers, at the end of the 1st half, Gresham had jumped out to a 31-22 halftime lead and never looked back despite a 7-0 run from Gillett to begin the 2nd half.
Top Scorers from Gresham were Kevin Miller with 13 points, Thomas Kaquatosh with 12 points and Kobe Miller with 9 points.
Top Scorers for the Tigers were Jed Herzog with 18 points, Clayton Borremans with 6 points and Bradyn Wendorff with 5 points.
The nail in the coffin that sealed the win for Gresham was a 3 pointer made by Nolan Pecore and a foul which resulted in a 4 point play for the Wildcats with just about 1 minute left in the game.
With the win, Gresham improved to 1-1 while Gillett dropped to 0-1.
