Suring Boys Look to Turn Experience Into a Breakthrough Season
The Suring High School Boys Basketball Preview Spotlight is presented by Bay Bank with locations in Keshena and Green Bay. It is also sponsored by Great Lakes Trailers and Suring Automotive.
The Suring boys finished 8–16 last year but return nearly their entire rotation, giving them one of the most experienced lineups in the M&O. The offense centers around Taylor Booth-Stroffregen, who averaged 13 points and four rebounds and enters the season as the Eagles’ top scoring and playmaking threat. Parker Haak adds balance in the frontcourt after posting seven points and seven rebounds per game, and Dayne Ermis returns as an athletic wing who defends and attacks the rim. The Eagles do lose senior standout Michael Bailey, but a heavy junior class steps into bigger roles. If Booth-Strophagen continues to grow as a creator and Hack anchors the paint, Suring has the pieces to climb the conference ladder. With improved depth and a more balanced lineup, the Eagles have a realistic chance to become one of the M&O’s most improved teams this season.
