Menominee Nation Boys: Experienced Eagles Look to Rise in CWC East
The Menominee Nation High School Boys Basketball Preview Spotlight is presented by Bay Bank with locations in Keshena and Green Bay.
Menominee Nation is coming off a 14–12 season and returns nearly its entire rotation, giving the Eagles one of the most experienced lineups in the CWC East. All-conference juniors Kenew Awonohopay leads the charge, bringing scoring, physicality, and defensive toughness to a deep and athletic roster. With versatile forwards and returning interior depth, Menominee Nation has the pieces to build on last year’s .500 finish. Coach Josh Gauthier likes the group’s chemistry and believes their experience can carry them forward. If the Eagles add improved shooting to that foundation, they have a real chance to climb into the top half of the conference and push for a second straight winning season.
