Pulaski Girls Return Key Scoring and Depth
The Pulaski High School Girls Basketball Preview Spotlight is presented by Bay Bank with locations in Keshena and Green Bay.
Pulaski finished 8–18 last season, but the Red Raiders return a strong core that head coach Doug McElrone believes can push them forward in the FRCC.
“We bring back three returning seniors who all started, plus two more who played starting minutes last year,” McElrone said.
Leading the way is Olivia Sprangers, who averaged 10 points per game and has taken a major leap. “She’s more confident, she’s shooting it better, and teams are going to see a different player this year,” McElrone added.
Pulaski’s depth is also a strength, with contributors like Alissa Nischke, freshman Josey Shaw, sophomore Anya Hasser, and seniors Lydia Gwidt and a 6-foot post returning.
With the ability to play nine deep and with improved scoring options, Pulaski looks poised to take a noticeable step forward in the FRCC this season.
