Bonduel Girls Look to Build on Last Season With Experienced Core
The Bonduel High School Boys Basketball Preview Spotlight is presented by Bay Bank with locations in Keshena and Green Bay.
Bonduel is coming off another strong season, and head coach Jerry Reinke says the Bears return enough talent to stay competitive again. The team brings back six key seniors, Juliana Jacobs, Cierra Schnell, Jayla Reinke, Allison Zernicke, Marlie Hartmann, and Mariah Wondra, all expected to step into larger roles.
Sophomore Audrey Jacobs, who started last year, is also set for a bigger impact, and Reinke points to Peyton Westrich and Emery Thompson as players who will need to contribute off the bench.
Reinke says the Bears will lean on their post play to open up scoring opportunities.
“We’ll have to play through the post and try to get some scoring that way,” he said. “Hopefully that opens up some threes.”
Bonduel plans to push the pace and generate easy baskets with pressure defense, relying on driving and interior play over perimeter shooting.
With experience, depth, and a clear identity, the Bears expect to remain a contender in the CWC East once again.
