Shawano Girls Look to Reload Behind Nordin’s Leadership

The Shawano girls are coming off a sectional-final run but enter the new season with major roster turnover after losing three starters and four seniors. Coach Ryan Koenig says this year is all about how quickly the rebuilt lineup can mesh. “It’s starting over,” Koenig said. “Leah, Anna and Macy have to step up and provide leadership while the younger girls get up to varsity speed.” Wisconsin Badger commit Leah Nordin leads the returning group alongside Anna Dreier and Macy Beyer, with Creden Weisnicht, Callie Otto, and Jadyn Brown stepping into bigger roles. Koenig says early success will depend on experience carrying the team until the lineup settles in.
