MARION, WI- Two men are in custody following the theft of nearly $29,000 worth of equipment from Great Lakes Veneer in Marion. Police say some of the stolen items were recovered five days after the Oct. 12 burglary at a property in the Town of Grant. Investigators later found the rest of the equipment during a search in the Town of Wyoming, where they also discovered illegal drugs and paraphernalia. The two suspects were arrested for possession of stolen property, methamphetamine, and marijuana. Marion Police say all the stolen equipment has since been recovered, and additional charges have been referred to the Waupaca County District Attorney’s Office.
