SEYMOUR, WI – A Seymour man will spend 15 years in prison after being convicted on multiple child pornography charges. According to investigators, the case began in February 2024 when the Seymour Police Department was alerted to concerning files discovered on a cell phone. Officers quickly identified 54-year-old John Breden as the suspect and arrested him the following day with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office charged Breden with several counts related to possession of child pornography and capturing an intimate representation. He later pleaded no contest as part of a plea agreement and was convicted.
In addition to his prison sentence, Breden was ordered to serve 10 years of extended supervision following his release and must register as a sex offender.
