SHAWANO, WI – The Hawks eliminated Antigo 8-0 in mercy rule fashion on Thursday Night to advance to the Regional Final to face Bay Conference Rival New London.
Anderson Schmidt for the Hawks had a hat trick, scoring all 3 goals on penalty kicks. Schmidt says it felt good to get a win to move on to play New London.
“It felt good for this one to get our offense going and it always feels good to move on to the next one.”
Schmidt says he’s excited to face New London for another time this season on Saturday.

Shawano got 6 goals in the 1st half en route to the mercy rule win to eliminate the Red Robins.
Shawano and New London will face off Saturday in Shawano in a regional final.
