OCONTO FALLS, WI – An 18-year-old man from Suring was killed in a crash late Friday night in Oconto County, according to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called just after 10:15 p.m. to County Highway B, south of Busy Nook Road in the Town of Oconto Falls, after reports of a vehicle crash. Investigators say the man’s vehicle struck a deer, causing him to lose control and roll multiple times into a ditch.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was taken to a hospital in Green Bay, where he later died from his injuries.
Authorities have not released the victim’s name at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
