Even though it was a tie, the Polar Bears came out of their match with the Papermakers on the road as FVA Champions. Kimberly got their goal in the 1st half and Hortonville responded in the 2nd half with a goal from Henry Whisler.
With the tie, Hortonville stands at 15-0-2 overall and 7-0-2 in the FVA. Kimberly sits at 4-5-5 overall and 3-2-4 in the FVA.
Fox River Classic Conference
West De Pere 4, Green Bay Southwest 0
The Phantoms got a home win over the Fighting Trojans on Tuesday evening. West De Pere got 3 in the 1st and 1 in the 2nd half for the shutout.
With the win, West De Pere improves to 6-7-1 overall and 1-5 in the FRCC. Green Bay Southwest drops to 3-5 overall and 1-5 in the FRCC.
#16 De Pere 3, Pulaski 0
The Redbirds flew high to a shutout win at home over the Red Raiders on Tuesday night. It was a scoreless game at halftime, then the Redbirds offense exploded for 3 goals in the 2nd half. Goals from the Redbirds came from Anson Fawcett, Brady Lemke and Brayden Franda.
With the win, De Pere improves to 9-3-2 overall and 5-0-2 in the FRCC. Pulaski drops to 7-6-3 overall and 2-3-1 in the FRCC.
Bay Conference
Shawano 6, New London 1
Another conference championship was clinched on Tuesday night, the Shawano Hawks captured at least a share of the Bay title with a 6-1 win over previously unbeaten New London. The Hawks got 3 goals in each half to knock off the Bulldogs.
With the win, Shawano improved to 13-2-1 overall and 7-1 in the Bay. New London drops to 11-1-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the Bay.
North Eastern
Clintonville 4, Waupaca 2
The Truckers picked up a home win over the Comets on Tuesday night. Clintonville got off to a hot start, scoring 3 goals in the 1st half and did not look back. Brody Woitczak had both goals for the Comets.
With the win, Clintonville improved to 6-6-2 overall and 2-3-1 in conference. Waupaca drops to 3-8-1 overall and 1-4 in conference.
Wrightstown 2, Freedom 2
The Tigers and the Irish played to a draw in Freedom on Tuesday night. Wrightstown had a 1-0 halftime lead but 2 goals in the 2nd half from Freedom got the draw for both teams. Hudson Lang and Cal Calhoon had goals for Freedom.
With the tie, Wrightstown sits at 5-7-3 overall and 3-1-2 in the conference. Freedom sits at 9-1-5 overall and 3-0-3 in conference.
Marinette 4, Luxemburg-Casco 0
The Marines picked up a home win over the Spartans on Tuesday. Marinette got 2 goals in each half for the shutout of Lux-Casco. Kaden Ducane had a hat trick scoring 3 goals for the purple and white. Damien Winterbottom got the other goal for Marinette.
With the win, Marinette improves to 8-4-2 overall and 5-0-1 in the North Eastern. Lux-Casco drops to 5-8-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the conference.
Denmark 3, Little Chute 0
The Vikings picked up a road win over the Mustangs on Tuesday. Denmark got out to a 2-0 halftime lead and never looked back. James Nellis had a hat trick for Denmark, scoring all 3 goals for the Vikings.
With the win, Denmark improved to 7-6 overall and 3-2 in the conference. Little Chute drops to 1-11 overall and 0-6 in the conference.
Non-Conference
Winneconne 4, Wild Rose/Wautoma 2
The Wolves picked up a home non-conference win over the Co-Op of Wild Rose/Wautoma. Winneconne got 3 goals in the 1st half but not without a response from the visitors as Wild Rose/Wautoma got 2 goals in the 2nd but it was Winneconne with 1 more in the 2nd half putting it away.
With the win, Winneconne improves to 4-8 overall. Wild Rose/Wautoma drops to 3-9-1 overall.
North Fond du Lac 3, Menasha 1
The Orioles picked up a road win over the Bluejays in the battle of the birds in Menasha on Tuesday night. It was a 1-1 game at halftime but it was North Fond du Lac with 2 goals in the 2nd to pull away.
With the loss, Menasha drops to 6-10 overall. North Fond du Lac improved to 8-5-2 overall.
Amherst 7, Nekoosa 0
The Falcons got a road win over the Papermakers on Tuesday evening, winning by a touchdown. Amherst got 2 goals in the 1st half and 5 in the 2nd half. Ayden Kazda and Shayden Abbott-Beversdorf both had 2 goals for the Falcons.
With the win, Amherst improved to 11-2-2 overall and Nekoosa dropped to 5-8-1 overall.
