Shawano Police responded to a variety of calls Just after 1:40 in the morning, officers were dispatched to Tractor Supply on East Green Bay Street after a burglar alarm was triggered. The alarm company contacted a keyholder, who arrived on scene shortly after. Officers determined everything was secure and the case was closed.
Around 7 a.m., police investigated a report of a man threatening people at an apartment on South Andrews Street. Multiple officers responded, and the incident remains active.
Shawano Community High School generated several calls during the school day, including juvenile problems and reports of reckless driving in the parking lot. Officers followed up on those concerns.
Later in the morning, police were called to Charlie’s County Market for a trespassing complaint. A man who had been banned from the store was seen back on the property. Officers made contact, and the case remains under review.
At midday, a drug investigation at a residence on South Union Street led to at least one arrest. Shortly after, officers also handled a disturbance at an apartment complex on East Division Street.
Other calls included a two-vehicle crash with no injuries on East Green Bay Street, multiple welfare checks, shoplifting at Walmart, and a runaway juvenile reported in the evening.
Police also stepped up extra patrols after a resident on North Humphrey Circle expressed concerns about possible homecoming pranks.
The day ended with disturbances, park violations, and a report of possible child neglect that is under investigation.
Clintonville Police Officers conducted several overnight business checks along South Main Street, and later investigated a noise complaint on East Madison Street. Around four-fifteen in the morning, police assisted another agency near Highway 45 and Lakeshore Road, followed by an ambulance call on North 12th Street and a mutual aid response also on Lakeshore Road.
In the afternoon, police handled a traffic hazard on Golf Club Road, several traffic stops, and an ordinance violation on West Street. A disorderly conduct call was reported downtown on South Main.
During the evening hours, extra patrols were logged on West Street, Green Tree Road, and Memorial Circle. Officers also responded to suspicious activity on West Street and at Pickerel Point Playground, along with a 911 call from Rohrer Street.
Shawano County deputies handled a busy Thursday with a range of calls across the area. Just after midnight, a vehicle ended up in a ditch near Elm Road and Hickory Drive in Pulaski. The driver was checked for possible injuries. Minutes later, another motorist struck a fox along County C and Beech Drive.
Around three-thirty in the morning, deputies responded to two separate reckless driving complaints, one on Highway 47 and another near County MMM and Peach Road.
At 4:45 a.m., a woman turned herself in on an outstanding warrant at the county jail. A second warrant arrest followed later that morning.
Deputies also investigated several crashes during the day, including a light-blue pickup truck that flipped onto its side near Raguse and Woods Roads. No one was found inside. A separate crash with injuries was reported along Wildlife Road and Highway 47.
Later in the morning, firefighters in Tigerton extinguished a vehicle fire on Highway 29. In the afternoon, officers recovered lost property, including a Ford Bronco key fob and a debit card.
Other calls included harassment complaints, suspicious vehicles, welfare checks, animal problems, and even a cat bite reported to Prevea Clinic in Green Bay.
In the evening, deputies handled a toilet-papering prank in Wittenberg, a disorderly conduct citation following a traffic stop, and several deer struck along area roadways.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office reminds drivers to use caution, especially with deer movement increasing this time of year.
