LUXEMBURG, WI – Luxemburg-Casco High School senior Rylen Hinckley has been named a Semifinalist in the 71st annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Hinckley is one of more than 16,000 students nationwide, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, to receive this prestigious recognition.
As a Semifinalist, Hinckley will now compete for nearly $26 million in scholarships that will be awarded next spring. Luxemburg-Casco High School Principal Tyson Tlachac praised Hinckley for his accomplishment, saying he is an excellent representative of the district’s high academic standards.
National Merit Scholarship winners will be announced between April and July of 2026.
