@ Marinette – Riverside GC – Menominee, MI
Seymour continued its dominant season, capturing first place at the Marinette Invitational with a team score of 360, well clear of runner-up Denmark (396). The Thunder were led by sophomore medalist Lyla Schueler, who shot a tournament-best 77, while teammates Morgan Lewis (88), Maci Heagle (94), and Jaelyn Wenninger (101) helped seal the team victory.
Freedom placed third with a 413, paced by Kay Lee McClintock’s 97 and Katelynn Shultz’s 99. Islee Hounsell (107) and Lauren Stelow (110) rounded out the Irish scoring.
Shawano finished close behind in fourth at 416, led by senior Gwyn Hermann’s 97. Senior Madelyn Moesch added a 101, followed by Lauren Seehafer (107) and Hailey Hawkinson (111) to keep the Hawks in the top four.
Wrightstown posted a 432, good for seventh place, with junior Ella Swanson turning in an impressive 84, the second-best score of the day. Freshman Adrienne Stelzer added a 109, with Lahela Carter (113) and Cora Stradel (126) completing the Tigers’ team score.
Oconto Falls finished 10th with a 449, led by junior Lilly Wagner’s 110. Teammates Katelyn Kurek (112), Addy Kluth (112), and Riley Borkovec (115) helped the Panthers stay competitive in the team standings.
Bonduel shot a 457 for 11th place, led by junior Paige Wolf’s 104. McKenna Onesti (109), Leah Court (116), and Hailey Spates (128) contributed to the Bears’ total.
New London finished 13th with a 525. Senior Melia Schultz led the Bulldogs with a 119, followed by Jenna Handschke (122), Hailey Peters (136), and Savannah Tepoorten (148).
FVA Dual – Grand View GC – Hortonville
Kaukauna edged Hortonville 173-178 in Tuesday’s matchup at Grand View Golf Course, a par-35 track. Clara Schomin and Sawyer Olson led the Ghosts with matching 40s, while Lauren Gustman carded a 45.
For Hortonville, Tiamarie Diamond paced the Polar Bears with a 41, followed by Hailey Cummings and Maddy Stueber, who each shot 45.
@ Mid-Vallee GC – De Pere – FRCC Mini Meet #4
Pulaski placed seventh with a team score of 192 at Thursday’s Fox River Classic Conference mini-meet. Senior Grace Melzer led the Red Raiders with a strong round of 42, tying for seventh overall. Pulaski’s scoring lineup also featured Paige Krahn, Taylor Murphy, and Charlie Lasecki, who each carded 50s, while senior Morgan Schuh added a 53 to round out the team total.
Bay Port captured the team title with a 160, led by three players shooting 42 or better, while De Pere (165) and Notre Dame Academy (179) rounded out the top three.
Girls Swim
Seymour topped New London 92-74 in Thursday’s dual meet, winning 9 of 11 events at the pool. Kate Gawryleski led the Thunder with wins in the 200 and 500 freestyle, while Maya VandeKolk swept the 50 and 100 freestyle sprints. Alivia Baehman added victories in the 200 IM and 100 backstroke, and Morrigan Allen won both the 100 fly and 100 breaststroke. Seymour also took all three relays, including the 200 free relay in 1:51.35.
New London was led by strong runner-up finishes from Kylie Heise, Sophia Schultz, and Ruby McCartney.
Girls Tennis
West De Pere 5, Pulaski 2
The loss drops Pulaski to 23-12 on the season and West De Pere improved to 39-6.
Oshkosh West 5, Hortonville 2
The loss drops the Polar Bears to 4-8-1 and improves the Wildcats with a win to 19-16 overall.
Cross Country
@ Bay Port “Mike Jameson” Invite
The Coleman Cougars finished 6th in a loaded field of D1 and D2 teams. The Cougars were led by Senior Ava Kuchta who finished with a time of 26:14.
