The Polar Bears made a statement on the road defeating the Lightning by a touchdown. Goal scorers for the Polar Bears include Elliot Vedder (2), Noah Rindt (1), Eli Shattuck (1), Jacob Plutz (1) and Evan Langkan (2). Grant Decker only made 1 save in net for Hortonville.
With the huge conference win, Hortonville improves to 9-0-1 overall and 4-0-1 in the FVA. Appleton North drops to 4-3-1 overall and 3-2 in the FVA.
South Central Conference
#20 Ripon 9, Wild Rose/Wautoma 0
The Wild Rose/Wautoma Co-Op lost 9-0 to Ripon who is ranked in the state 9-0 in a home conference match. The Co-Op only had one shot on goal the entire game which the keeper made the save on.
With the loss, Wautoma/Wild Rose drops to 1-5-1 and 0-2-1 in the South Central. Ripon improves to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the South Central.
Fox River Classic Conference
Sheboygan North 2, Pulaski 1
The Red Raiders lost a tough conference match on the road, losing by a goal to the Golden Raiders. Senior Nolan Pratt had the lone goal for Pulaski. Jonah Drevs made 7 saves on net.
With the loss, Pulaski drops to 4-2-3 overall and 0-1-1 in the FRCC. Sheboygan North improves to 6-0-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the FRCC.
Bay Conference
Seymour 3, Green Bay East 2
The Thunder got a road conference win in Green Bay defeating the Red Devils in a nail-biter. Seymour was down 2-1 at the break, responding with 2 goals in the 2nd half to win 3-2.
With the win, Seymour improves to 2-5-1 overall and 2-2 in the Bay. Green Bay East drops to 1-8 overall and 1-3 in the Bay.
Fox Valley Lutheran 14, Green Bay West 0
The Foxes got out and quickly and never looked back putting 14 balls in the back of the net, cruising to a road conference win. Ezra Schaser had 5 goals. Everybody scored on the Foxes besides one player.
With the win, FVL improves to 5-3-1 overall and 3-1 in the Bay. Green Bay West drops to 1-6 overall and 0-4 in the Bay.
Xavier 3, Menasha 0
In a battle of the birds, it was the Hawks flying high over Menasha in a home conference win.
With the win, Xavier improves to 7-4 overall and 3-0 in the Bay. Menasha drops to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the Bay.
North Eastern Conference
Wrightstown 4, Luxemburg-Casco 0
The Tigers picked up a home conference win over Lux-Casco getting 3 goals in the 2nd period after only leading 1-0 after 40 minutes. Sophomore Parker Huss scored a hat trick. Andrew Besel made 6 saves on the night for Wrightstown.
With the win, Wrightstown improves to 2-4-1 overall and 2-1 in the North Eastern. Luxemburg-Casco drops to 3-3-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the North Eastern.
Other Non-Conference
Lourdes/Valley Christian 2, Amherst 0
The Amherst Falcons suffered their 1st loss of the season at the hands of the visiting Knights Co-Op squad. Amherst Goalkeeper Isaac Snyder made 4 saves on goal during the 80 min.
With the loss, Amherst drops to 6-1-1 on the season and Lourdes/Valley Christian improves to 6-0.
New London 6, Mosinee 0
Even though the Bay Conference was in action, New London played a non-conference opponent in the Mosinee Indians but it didn’t matter as the Bulldogs blanked the Indians.
With the win, New London stays perfect at 6-0 and Mosinee drops to 3-4 overall.
Freedom 2, Gibraltar 2
The Irish played the Vikings from behind after trailing at the break
1-0 then getting 2 goals in the 2nd half to come away with a 2-2 home draw. Senior Sawyer Rueckl had the 2 goals in the 2nd half.
With the draw, Freedom is now 3-1-2 overall and Gibraltar is now
0-3-1.
Clintonville 3, GB NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy 2
The Truckers got a road victory in Green Bay Tuesday night beating the NEW/Providence Co-Op in a nail biter.
The road win puts Clintonville at 3-2-1 overall and
Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy drops to 0-3 overall.
