Amherst 3, Bonduel 2
(25-23, 26-28, 18-25, 25-20, 6-15)
The match of the night featured the Falcons and Bears in a 5 set thriller. Bonduel took the 1st set by a slim margin, it was then the Falcons turn as they took the next 2 and then it was back to Bonduel. The 5th set was all Falcons as Bonduel only managed 6 points in the 5th and final set.
With the road conference win, Amherst improves to 9-4 and 2-0 in conference play. The Bears drop to 7-5 overall and 0-2 in conference.
Marion 3, Port Edwards 1
(25-17, 25-18, 22-25, 26-24)
The Mustangs pulled out a 4 set thriller over the Blackhawks on Monday. The Mustangs tool the 1st 2 sets quickly. The Blackhawks took the 3rd and almost the 4th before Marion shut down the attack and picked up a 3-1 win.
With the home non-conference win, Marion improves to 7-3 overall and Port Edwards drops to 3-8 overall.
Athens 3, Wild Rose 0
The Bluejays picked up a road non-conference win over the Wildcats. With the loss, Wild Rose drops to 3-5 overall and Athens improves to 6-11 overall.
