Girls Swimming and Diving
The Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers turned in a strong performance despite falling to Seymour 82–60 in a closely contested swim meet on September 11. The Chargers, competing with just five swimmers, only fell behind after not having entries in the final two events.
WB opened the night with a new pool record in the 200-yard medley relay, with Brooklynn Beran, Reese Dickman, Kelsie Davis, and Eleanor Tassler taking first place. Davis added individual wins in the 200-yard IM and 100-yard backstroke, while Rylee Crick won the 100-yard butterfly.
Other highlights included a first-place finish for Reese Dickman in the 500-yard freestyle and another first in the 200-yard freestyle relay with Dickman, Tassler, Crick, and Davis teaming up. Beran earned runner-up finishes in both the 200-yard and 100-yard freestyle races.
Despite the short roster, the Chargers notched multiple top-three finishes, showing strong depth and determination throughout the meet.
