NEW LONDON, WI – New London’s Hatten Stadium was buzzing earlier this month as more than 4,000 visitors attended the Class AA Wisconsin American Legion Baseball Tournament.
City Administrator Chad Hoerth said the five-day event generated over 9,300 visits to the stadium and provided a major economic boost for the community. Local restaurants and businesses reported increased traffic, and online feedback from fans praised New London for hosting the tournament.
Alderman David Dorsey added that players and families were impressed with the field and facilities, calling it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
