SHAWANO, WI – Shawano County Supervisor Annelies Hartwig has resigned her seat on the County Board after relocating outside of the district she represented.
Board Chairman Tom Kautza announced the resignation on Sept. 3, noting it took effect on Aug. 29. Hartwig previously represented District 2, which includes Wards 3 and 4.
Kautza said he plans to appoint a replacement to fill the vacancy. The appointee will serve until April 2026, when all County Board seats will be on the ballot.
