The Amherst Falcons picked up a decisive road win Monday night, defeating Northland Lutheran 4–0 in conference play.
The Falcons struck early with two first-half goals and added two more after the break to put the match out of reach. Senior Ayden Kazda led the way with two goals, while senior Milo Graham added a goal and two assists. Amherst controlled possession throughout, keeping constant pressure on the Wildcats’ defense.
On the other end, junior goalkeeper Ian Dudley was perfect in net, recording seven saves to preserve the shutout.
The Falcons improve to 5-0 and 3-0 in conference play while Northland Lutheran drops to 1-3 and 0-1 in conference action.
Clintonville 3, Peshtigo 2
With the win, Clintonville improves to 1-2-1 on the season and the Peshtigo Bulldogs drop to 1-3.
Stockbridge 4, Gresham 1
With the win, Stockbridge improves to 1-0 on the season and Gresham drops to 0-4.
