SHAWANO, WI – A Shawano man was arrested Monday morning for his fifth operating while intoxicated offense, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Troopers say 66-year-old Calvin M. Montoure was pulled over around 10:30 a.m. on W. Green Bay Street at N. Lafayette Street in Shawano for a seat belt violation. During the stop, the trooper noted several signs of impairment.
After field sobriety tests were conducted, Montoure was taken into custody for OWI, fifth offense. Authorities say he was driving a 1998 Chevrolet truck at the time of the stop.
The arrest was made by a trooper from the State Patrol’s Wausau Post.
